Our Signature Process reflects the cumulative result of decades of outstanding quality, customer service and remodeling experience. The Signature Process spans the entire remodeling experience from initial consultation through design, implementation and final project completion.
This process incorporates the needs and desires expressed by customers over the years and has become a crucial and effective method by which our company and you the customer communicate, collaborate, and realize your remodeling dreams – free from the anxiety typically associated with the remodeling process.
The Signature Process
1) Consultation

- In home consultation.
- Review of homeowners’ remodeling expectations.
- Discussion of design goals and site conditions.
- Establish of general budget.
2) Preliminary Design Feasibility Study
Design Deposit: $500 & Up (applicable to final cost)
- In home visit from architect and/or designer.
- Measurement of existing site.
- Verification of local zoning restrictions.
- Development of preliminary floor plan/elevations.
- Meeting to review design options with client.
- Exclusive and detailed estimating process.
- Presentation of comprehensive project specifications with menu of options and “fixed price” guarantee.
3) Construction Planning and Remodeling
(Fixed Price Contract)
- Visit to Neal’s Design Center Showroom for professionally assisted materials selections.
- On-site pre-construction review
- Establishment of project schedule flowchart and completion date.
- On-going, frequent communication from start to finish of project.
- Coordination of trades, materials, deliveries and inspection.
- Careful attention to environmental protection techniques.
- Carpentry crews, dust protection and daily clean-ups.
- Certificate of Insurance and lien release upon request.
- One-Year, on-site project review meeting.
- Two-Year Neal’s Project warranty.

The Selection Process
A kitchen, bathroom, room addition, or lower level remodel requires you to make dozens of selection decisions. Neal’s Design • Remodel’s selection process manages this daunting task into an enjoyable experience that’s fun! Instead of running all over town wading through hundreds of options in style, finishes, materials, and manufactures, you will meet with one of our award-winning designers at our showroom to start the selection process.
Sample Job Schedule
Your designer will provide palettes containing different colors, materials, and finishes that define the space and exemplify your style and taste. We will work with your décor, artwork or furnishings so that your selections do not detract but compliment your existing living spaces. The selections you’ve made for your remodeled space will be charted and organized by your designer and we then will address any changes, if needed, to the original budget.
