Updated 19th Century Bath

An updated 19th Century Bathroom in Hyde Park, Ohio.

Project Details

Hyde Park, OH

Project Story:
Late 19th century homes are well known for their spartan size and surroundings, In this remodel, the owners chose to expand their bath into an adjacent extra bedroom space, enlarging the bath size from 5’x6′ into 11’x13′. By doing so , Neal’s was able to provide a generous glass shower, separate his and her vanity areas with ample storage and drawer space, a seated makeup area and a long, angled-back, claw-foot tub. Extra attention was spent insulating the new bath exterior walls and heating the ceramic tile floor and shower areas for improved year-round comfort.
