"How long will my project take? ...What will my project cost?"
These are some of the most important questions you might have about your remodeling project. Without knowing all the details of your specific project, however, it’s difficult for us to precisely answer them. To guide you, we’ve provided below some of the average pricing and timeframes for various project types to help you set some initial expectations for your remodeling project.
The following indicates the average timeframes you can expect for a remodeling project in your home. These timeframes can vary greatly depending on the size and scope of your remodel, as well as many other key components unique to your project or dictated by manufacturing and market conditions. Within each stage, there are also several integral “behind the scenes” actions happening such as pulling permits, getting variances when needed, and ordering the materials for your project. We do our best to create a structure and communicate the process to allow you to still live life in your home in the midst of the disruption of a remodel.
Construction Phase Timeframes
When construction begins on your project, the type of project dictates the amount of time to completion.

We will be able to give you a much more accurate range based on your specific project once we have seen your space and gotten more information from you about your project goals.

Once your project cost has been established, we break it down into regular payments known as a Draw Schedule. This allows your remodeling investment to be spread out through the duration of your project rather than as larger payments made at the beginning or end. Changes to the scope of your project that affect the cost are handled through addendums to your contract.
Remodeling Magazine’s Cost vs. Value Report is also a great reference when you’re considering budget expectations for a remodeling project in your home. This report is compiled from the averages on permits that are pulled in regions around the country and are meant to give you an idea of what homeowners are investing.
